Starting October 31st 2009 thru Jan 31st 2010 a contest will begin for graphic artists and designers to submit a new logo to head up this website. Some basic rules have been started that I think I need to express.
- There can and will be only one winner! If we decide to use multiple graphics, the designer will be notified to try and work out a separate deal.
- All "non-winning" graphics submitted WILL REMAIN THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THE DESIGNER! Yes, that's right. We're not about to pirate your designs and claim them as our own. It's our goal to work with designers in an effort to get their names out there when we can and we will not use your artwork without your permission (express written consent and release).
- No copyrighted images will be accepted. If you submit a copyrighted image as your own and we are made aware of it. You will be held 100% responsible for the copyright and/or trademark infringement. You could be prosecuted in a court of law. Any legal damages we suffer due to your copyright violation will be forwarded to you.
- Because we are supportive of our country, we're trying to keep our dollars inside of the U.S.A. So this contest is valid only within the 48 contiguous states of the United States except where prohibited by law. If your state has federal laws against you participating in this contest, it is your responsibility to know and to abide by your state laws. All contestants must be over the age of 17 to participate. If you are residing in foreign country (including all territories around the 48 contiguous states of the U.S.A. you are not eligible for this contest.
- The winner will sign a statement of release to transfer the rights of publication, duplication, modification, and distribution over to AskAIdiot.com and it's designers, or our affiliates. Basically the logo will cease to be yours and become OURS! Remember, we will continue to give you those kudos though on our site for ever! (Or until the site goes offline or obtained by another party). Again, we will not release the reward without this signed consent form.
- Advertisements on this BLOG or within this sites that are not sanctioned by AskAIdiot.com will be removed and the user's banned.
